We would like to dedicate all our time to making your rooms spotless and fresh-smelling. Here are a few things we ask you to do before we arrive so we can get to work on the task you want us to do. A quick tidy also reduces the risk of damage or misplaced items and helps us maintain a safe, efficient working environment.

Things to do before we clean

Tidy and Declutter

  • Clear the Floors: Please pick up toys, shoes, and clothing so we have unobstructed access for vacuuming and mopping.

  • Clear Countertops: As far as possible, please leave countertops clear of clutter.

  • Handle Dishes: Please don’t leave us the washing up. This takes up time and we won’t know where to put the items afterwards.

  • Organize Laundry: Please put away clothes or put them in the laundry basket. Picking up and folding clothes takes time.

We want you to relax while we are cleaning for you so please do these few things for us.

Safety and Security

  • Secure Valuables: Please store jewellery, cash, and sensitive documents in a locked drawer or safe for peace of mind.

  • Manage Pets: Please place pets in a comfortable, separate room or crate to prevent stress and keep them away from cleaning chemicals and equipment.

  • Remove Fragile Items: Please move delicate items or heirlooms to a secure location to prevent accidental damage during the cleaning process.

We would like you to glad you chose us when you walk into your fresh, clean home so we ask a couple of things before we start.

Logistics and Communication

  • Property Access: Please make sure we can enter your property easily. If access instructions change, please let us know 2 hours before we arrive.

  • Set Priorities: Leave a note or list of specific areas you would like us to concentrate on. If this is a task we don’t usually do for you it may mean we won’t get to complete all the tasks we usually do. Please let us know in advance if more time is required.
